I made these simple tips to make your car’s air filter stay clean, and free from dust.
Follow these 8 steps to clean your air filter and get back on the road in less time.

1. First things to do is, safely remove the air sensor from your car’s air intake.
2. Remove the air filter.
3. Third, spray the filter cleaner on both sides of the air filter. Do it carefully.
4. Allow the cleaning fluid to saturate into the air filter for 10 to 15 minutes. Have some coffee, and read newspaper.
5. Wash the air filter with cool water gently and carefully. If the filter is hardly dirty, repeat steps number 3 and 4 until the filter is clean perfectly.
6. Allow the filter to completely dry. Do not use electric dryer. Let it dry naturally.
7. After the filter is dry, spray the filter oil on the front side of the air filter and allow it to soak for 20 to 30 minutes. Do it carefully. Be sure to completely cover the filter with the oil so that it forms a seal, and free from water and dust.
8. Once the oil has set into the filter, then replace the filter into your car’s air intake. Once again, do it carefully, and do not forget to reconnect the air sensor.
